Embryo pooling is an IVF technique wherein the embryos recruited from the previous IVF cycle are cryopreserved/ frozen. Once all the cycles are completed then all the cryopreserved embryos are cultured till blastocyst stage in the IVF lab and the best is transferred in the wife’s womb. Alternatively, one can do sequential transfer in these patients This technology specifically benefits women with advanced age, with previous multiple failed IVF cycles. This is also very useful in all PGT cycles, especially with poor ovarian reserve.
